After a long dreaded period of absolutely no motivation to draw whatsoever, it finally struck me when I randomly decided to give colored pencils a go.  I guess I just needed to switch it up a bit for creativity's sake, and now my inspiration is coming back, so hopefully I'll be drawing a lot more in the near future.  (To be honest I always like how my art looks a lot more before it's scanned and digitally colored.)
Also, I'm seriously debating on whether or not to delete my entire gallery and start fresh (the picture I posted today will stay).  Fate, more or less, has decided that my webcomic is pretty much not going to happen.  I might or might not do a much shorter version that tells the entire story in a much simpler way, explaining how all my characters came to be.  As for the rest of my gallery, I just want to clean it out and focus a lot more on my original characters.  (Fret not, majority of my watchers, for there shall always be room for giantess related scenarios for my characters to be thrown into!)  I really want to develop my characters more, and who knows, maybe one day get a webcomic going again; not necessarily a long story filled one, but one where I can do random shorts where my characters can get into all sorts of shenanigans.  Anyway, whether I delete my entire gallery or not is a decision that will take some time, so it probably won't be happening at least until the end of the month, if at all.

Edit @ 02/02/2015 22:06 - The obvious choice, which I didn't even think of at the time, is to put everything in Storage.  For the time it will stay this way; I might start taking out a few things here and there as I feel.

Okay, let me start out by saying nothing I'm saying in this post means to take the piss out of anything you do, or offend you or whatever.

Back in late 2007/8 i was a young as fuck kid with a windows ME pc and a dream, and i used to webcrawl your Cheep Productions website like it was going out of style. Every flash cartoon you made, every dumb clip, etc., that was my big dream.

Fast forward maybe a few years past that, maybe late 2011 (when i had a pc that wasn't utter shite).

I searched and searched and couldn't find your site, cheep productions only turned up buisness sites and unhosted domains from webhosts, I was almost certain I hallucinated your website and from then on I just dropped it and let it be.

Fast forward another few years, I'm a blissful 18 year old digital artist with a full array of various coloring utensils at my hand.( I draw and I make flash cartoons but never post them, that's aside the point.)

I go on google out of a whim (due to a friend bringing up Homestar Runner which was another thing I really liked as a kid) and I search "Cheep Productions".

Still no results but i find a livejournal post.

I see Cheep Productions has died finally.

I realize why i could never turn up your website in google search like i did, because it has been deactivated and is now dead as a doornail.

Your dinky old lame flash animations (i mean this in the best way because they were the light of my life as a kid, i seriously got up every day at 6am just to check your site and homestar's site) inspired me to this point and to see something I enjoyed as a kid being dead and gone long after I'd took up maybe doodling and making things and doing this and seeing your site has been taken down kinda killed me out.

I'm not here to rant and rave and tell you "BRING BACK CHEEP-PRODUCTIONS.COOOMMMMM!!!!", no, instead I'm just going to tell you that you were one of the many inspirations in my childhood that lead me to where I am now.

And where i am now, i can't say, I'm not more than a "120 degree head shape/head n shoulders" artist man myself, although i do try, but whatever I do in the future, I just want you to know that you inspired a kid to follow his dreams.

You might be old or really old now (or a dinosaur lol), and i don't know where you are now nin life (or if your still alive?)but i just want you to know that your flash toons mattered to someone, it doesn't matter what you thought of them, but I just want you to know.

This is my closure to something that made my day as a kid, and i'm sad to see it's not around anymore to share with my friends.

Best wishes (from a really big dork fan),

Wow, I... I really don't know what to say.  I guess let me start by saying that this really made my day.  I feel honored, in the most humble way possible, to have been an inspiration to someone like this.
I'm not used to positive feedback on my stuff from the '00s; I'm sure you can imagine why (although I reckon there was a small handful of stuff I did back then that I still like today).  Yes, I did in time put an end to Cheep Productions, and now I'm starting here anew.
Well again, and in closing, I'm honored to have played part in inspiring you.  Thank you for the message.  I feel like I should say more, but I don't know what to say.  This really made my day!

Your art is cute, but it needs work on structure, anatomy, foreshortening and perspective. Try shading, even with a free program like the beta version of OpenCanvas. Also, look up some tutorials on drawing cartoons and maybe some life drawing. It's very important to learn life drawing so you can draw better cartoons, because even the late, great Tex Avery started out with more realistic cartoons before he shifted to his more famous style. Also, learn about drawing styles and consistency. In some of your drawings, the limbs look very inconsistently short, skinny or lumpy while at the same time flat.

Bear in mind that I am working on the very stuff I've listed. I'm not a perfect artist by any means, but I do know how to look at art, having taken classes in drawing, colour theory and layout. When I look at my old pictures, I use them as sort of a 'growth chart' for my artistic abilities. I may upload some of my new efforts sometime soon.
